Enterprise Profile

A Heritage of Energy Authority & Trust

Part of the Clean Energy Group, United Kingdom

CE Power Solutions Limited operates as a premier utility-scale energy infrastructure provider across the African continent. Formed as a key member of the prestigious Clean Energy Group based in the United Kingdom (UK), we are widely recognized as one of Nigeria’s foremost providers of Gas-to-Power Independent Power Producers (IPPs).

Our central objective is simple yet unyielding: to engineer and supply uninterrupted, high-integrity power grid solutions without compromising the local environment. Natural gas stands as the absolute gold standard for heavy industries seeking an immediate, highly efficient, and environmentally sustainable alternative to diesel baseload power. CE Power ensures this green transition is executed with institutional-grade logistics and absolute operating reliability.

Since our strategic inception in Nigeria, we have built a market reputation centered on heavy power generation quality, 24/7 continuous supply routes, dependable distribution grid networks, and world-class mechanical and electrical engineering support. We do not just deploy gensets; we engineer, own, and operate decentralized power complexes designed to scale alongside Nigeria's core manufacturing, FMCG, and heavy logistics leaders.

Execution Integrity

In-House O&M & Remote Monitoring

Our strength lies in direct ground execution capability—maintaining strict control over our logistics, safety margins, and field engineering standards.

01

In-House Operations & Maintenance

Unlike providers who rely on third-party service contracts, every plant we install is maintained by CE Power's own engineering team for the full life of the contract. Our technicians are on-site 24/7 and backed by an in-house aftermarket/spares capability, meaning routine servicing, unplanned repairs, and parts availability are all managed internally rather than outsourced. This removes coordination delays typical of multi-vendor arrangements and is why our O&M commitment is built directly into the tariff.

02

24/7 Remote Monitoring

Every installation is connected to our central monitoring hub, giving round-the-clock visibility of plant performance, fuel consumption, and equipment health. This allows our engineering team to identify developing issues before they cause an outage, dispatch technicians proactively rather than reactively, and plan maintenance around the client's operational schedule rather than around breakdowns.

03

What This Delivers for Clients

As monitoring and maintenance sit under one roof, clients get a single point of accountability for performance rather than managing multiple vendors across equipment, servicing, and monitoring.

OUR COMMERCIAL MODEL

A Fully Managed Power Partnership, Not Just Equipment Supply

CE Power operates as a true Independent Power Producer for its clients — we design, install, own, operate, and maintain the generation plant on your site, so you receive reliable power without carrying the operational burden or technical risk yourself.

How It Works

We assess your facility's load profile and site conditions, then design and install a dedicated gas generation plant directly at your premises. Power is supplied to you under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), typically running five to ten years, under which you pay CE Power a per-kWh tariff for the electricity consumed. Where local regulations allow, the same plant can also supply surrounding off-takers under captive and distributed energy arrangements, improving overall project economics.

Our Commitments to You

Full in-house operation and maintenance of the plant for the life of the contract, delivered by our own engineers and built into the tariff rather than billed separately; 24/7 on-site engineering presence backed by our central remote monitoring hub for continuous performance oversight and rapid response; a tariff structure designed for predictability, with clearly defined indexation for inflation and foreign exchange movement agreed upfront; and contract-end flexibility, where we work with the client to either extend the arrangement or decommission the plant in an orderly way as the PPA term approaches expiry.

What We Ask of Our Clients

Site access and space to host the generation plant, plus reasonable cooperation on securing the site's generation licence; fuel/gas supply responsibility agreed on a site-by-site basis, with CE Power managing gas procurement end to end on some sites and the client procuring its own gas on others; and a minimum take-or-pay volume commitment underpinning the long-term investment in dedicated on-site generation infrastructure.

Sustainability

Sustainability at CE Power

We believe reliable energy and environmental responsibility are not in conflict. Our sustainability framework is built on measurable commitments, transparent governance, and alignment with Nigeria's national decarbonisation agenda and global reporting standards.

Decarbonisation Alignment

Contributing to Nigeria's Energy Transition

Nigeria's national decarbonisation pathways project a reduction of power-sector emissions from 112.5 MMT CO₂-eq toward near-zero by 2060, driven by cleaner fuel transitions and efficiency improvements. CE Power's gas-to-power and hybrid infrastructure directly supports this trajectory — displacing heavy fuel oil and diesel across critical industrial sectors.
